More headway! We cleared a lot of the little trees and brush, giving the blueberry bushes some room to breathe. We also worked with the town and got permission to take down a few of the pines that had gotten away from us. You can finally see the birches, the lake and even the mountain again!
So this is why they call it Birch Point...
Almost like the good old days...
Rick and Pete did an amazing job battling back the encroaching pines that were making the house a bit claustrophobic. We now have a clear view of the lake and the boathouse, with only a few pesky pines to go before we can see the point again.
